We went to this place based on recommendations we had received. Upon arrival, we were not sure if we were in the right place...an old building, dimly lit, we thought it was closed. Once inside, it is not very big, but big enough to accommodate good groups. The atmosphere reminded me of 80s taverns, with wooden tables and chairs, very little ambient light, and regulars sitting at the bar enjoying their beer. As for the food, we both had burgers. Bel endroit avec bonne atmosphere mais ce n,est pas tout a fait une micro-brasserie. on y retrouve ddifférentes sortes de bières mais rien qui sort de l'ordinaire. Nous avions cru comprendre en regardant la description du resto que c'était une micro mais ils n'y brassent aucune bière. C'est donc un restaurant avec de la bières commerciales pour la plupart. Le mac & cheese (des pates papillon et une sauce rosée c'est pas un Mac & cheese !) et un tartare boeuf à la çesar moyen. After receiving a great recommendation from the woman at the Tourist Information, we decided to check out Le Thymbre. It was clear that we were in a predominantly French-speaking area, but fortunately, the friendly server was able to understand us, despite our limited high school French skills. I tried salmon tartare for the first time at this pub and it was absolutely delicious. The beer selection was also fantastic. Overall, a great dining experience.
J'ai adoré la qualité de la nourriture. Le tartare de saumon et l'accompagnement de salade de riz, lentilles et citron était fabuleux! L'endroit est simple et convivial. Parfait pour un 5 à 7 entre amis. Je vous recommande de réserver car l'endroit était bondé vendredi dernier.

L'endroit est un peu petit mais la nourriture est très bonne et bon choix de bières. Prix raisonnables. A visiter si vous êtes à Nicolet.

C'est toujours vraiment délicieux et le service est excellent. L'ambiance est le fun. Un beau resto!
