First off, we're from California. We were going home, traveling south from Quebec City, and decided to stop somewhere for an authentic Poutine. Anywhere. We were actually lost, and then ended up in the cute little town of Nicolet. We drove along the main street looking for a Poutine sign. There was none. Then, we saw "Theo's" and pulled up at the parking lot. A lady was exiting the restaurant, so I asked her (in English) if they had Poutine at this restaurant. "Oui, Oui, Yes!", she said. Say no more, said I! This is a cute, cute little place for the locals, which is a good sign. We ordered the Poutine Galvaude and the Poutine Galpoute. Very disappointed. Advertised as a worker's lunch. We ended up paying a high price at the cash register. They told us that we didn't specify, but it was not indicated anywhere. The person I was with showed the menu to the waitress. Really, really disappointed. I call this a scam.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at a great price, but the restaurant was uncomfortably hot due to poor ventilation or lack of air conditioning. Additionally, there were issues with payment processing.
This restaurant is great for lunch. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service is top-notch. We had a wonderful meal and highly recommend it!

Not very good. I didn't receive what I ordered and it was just two eggs and bacon!! It doesn't taste and it's lukewarm. I do not advise!
Family style restaurant. The diversity of the lunch menu is excellent. The French toast is good there.
Clean restaurant Excellent and hot food. Kind and courteous staff. Large parking lot at the back.
