My wife had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to visit today. Don't let the initial appearance deceive you. The owners were very busy, as the place was packed. We waited a bit for our orders to be taken, but it was definitely worth it. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order. I ordered the Corned Beef and Potato pie, while my wife had the Mushroom and Leek pie. Both dishes came with plenty of chips and peas for three people. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning. Parking is limited, so we were able to find a spot on the street.
Been to the retro roadhouse for Sunday dinner and breakfast and it’s always been good. They are accommodating of different foetuses requirements/fussy eaters and the food is fresh and it’s so reasonably priced. I have been to many places looking for a decent Sunday dinner but retro roadhouse beat them all. Would 100% recommend this gem and if you like classic cars then you will enjoy the fleet of them often on show in the car park!
Had the afternoon tea today, wow! It was fantastic, plenty of filling in the sandwiches, quiche, pork pie, sausage rolls, scones to die for( real clotted cream) and beautiful cakes. Great value and the staff are very friendly.
This is an amazing place. Not only the brilliant music and decor but the food is second to none. Been with my daughters for afternoon tea and we are well stuff and was given boxes to bring home what we couldn't eat.
eating is delicious and fantastic value for money. the atmosphere and the decor are fabulous. had the big English breakfast, it is not for the weak hearts! the owners are so friendly.
Called in Saturday. Quick breakfast. It was very good. Friendly owners, dog friendly too.. Lots of retro stuff to look at whilst your there. Will return well worth trying.
