We went to Reveal Rooftop on Cinco De Mayo they were having a $5 margarita deal that was too good to pass. They posted all over social media and we were so excited to try it. It was pretty slow and the bartenders were slow but responsive. We asked about the flavor margaritas (again the ones they advertised on their social media) and the bartenders had no idea. Weird but regardless we had a great time no complaint about the cheap margaritas. We opened a tab and then closed it out at the end of the night. However, I did have a frustrating experience when I ordered a drink. I wanted a can of Stella Rosa wine, which my friend had just purchased. After tasting hers, I was curious about other flavors, so I asked the bartender if they had any. He replied with a simple "no." Yet, I could see various colored cans in the fridge behind the bar. I asked again, pointing out the different colors I had noticed. I specifically remembered seeing a can with a dark blue top. Without even looking to see what I was referencing, the bartender repeated that there were no other flavors available. It left me feeling a bit gaslighted, as if my observations didn't matter. I’ve never managed to enjoy the drinks or atmosphere at this restaurant because each time I visit, I encounter terrible service. There's one particular man who is always there in the evenings, and he is extremely rude and speaks entirely in sarcasm. On a colder night, we requested that the fireplace be turned on, but he outright refused. Instead, he suggested closing the rooftop cover and turning on the heating, almost as if he was punishing us for asking—he simply didn’t want to go down to the lobby to fetch the key to light the fire. Other than that, the rooftop area tends to be quite empty, though the space itself is pleasant.
The restaurant offers a stunning view of downtown and overlooks the 394 highway. Located on the 6th floor, it features an open-air bar. I'm interested to see how the space will perform during the winter months. Although food is on the menu, I didn’t receive one when I visited on a Tuesday evening. The service started off a little sluggish, and I had to place my order at the bar. However, the bartender eventually came to our table later on. Although summer has officially passed, I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the rooftop and sipping a few drinks by the fireplace. The space is cozy, yet beautifully decorated, and it includes TVs for watching games. I opted for an Old Fashioned after seeing someone at the bar savor one. This cocktail is crafted by muddling sugar with bitters, then adding whiskey and brandy, all topped off with a twist of citrus peel. I didn't check out the food menu, but I would definitely return for more drinks and to unwind.
A great bar to visit even if you're not staying at the hotel. The rooftop in the summer has a great view of downtown. During the winter, they move to the downstairs bar. They have some good drinks and service has always been quick. Ron seems to be the main bartender and he always has a joke or two to share. I don't know the names of the other staff but I haven't had a good experience with any of them. Worth a visit. It's also an easy walk (when it's warm) to the rest of the West End places.
We had an amazing experience! This place is ideal for a romantic date or a fun gathering with friends. The service was top-notch—extremely friendly and attentive. We are definitely looking forward to coming back!
