My husband and I attended Richardson's dinner last week. We sat inside (It was a very hot evening, so that was not a brain for us. The dining room is tastefully decorated with temporary colors and fabrics. Our server was wonderful. She was attentive without floating, answered our questions well and kept our wine glasses full. I ordered the scallops; my husband ordered the duck breast. Both were fantastic! A wonderful surprise for this country was that all sides were as good as the most important ducks. The Blueberry Hibiscus Marmelade, who arrived with my scallops, was divine as the Rhabarb sweet and acidic sauce that accompanied the duck breast. I enjoyed a beautiful Rhubarb crab for desser...
Another delicious meal on the terrace at Richardson's last night! The oysters were fresh and skillfully shoved and the Rhabarb mignonette makes a perfect companion. The frits served with blueberry ketchup are not to be missed. For salads, the New England Lobster Salad is highly recommended because the lobster was directly from the ocean and a generously dimensioned piece of claw meat. For Entree, the Szechuan Spiced Duck Breast was outstanding and unique. The duck was perfectly boiled and the bok choy, egg roll and rhabarb made sweet and sour sauce for a really delightful dish. As always, the service was impeccable. Count the days until my next visit!
A beautiful evening for a graduation party! The staff was so attentive to our needs. The meals were all delicious and served on time. It is no surprise that Richardson's keeps it high satisfaction of customers! Special kudos to Laurie for coordinating the whole party!
Stellar grill menu, and the ambience on the outside patio is fantastic during the summer time. Love sitting by the canal sipping a cocktail! Dinner menu is also obviously their crown jewel
