It's a fusion of everything with a chinese flavour. We ordered vegetarian red thai curry. The food was good but there was no coconut in it n it had a chinese taste. Their portion size is huge. The restaurant was showing open but when we went there, they were only giving takeaways. The lady said, 15 mins wait after ordering the food but it took less than that.
Food is ok. Chicken balls are very good. Take-out only. The disappointing thing is that the prices don’t match from recent menu or online. Was definitely overcharged for my p/u order. Paid cash and got a discount, was still more than what the recent take-out menu prices reflect. Also chicken fried rice was just chicken and rice, no vegetables or egg.
The “Thai food” section is a joke. I should’ve known it wouldn’t be authentic. Original Thai curry has coconut milk in it, not cornstarch. And I don’t know what the definition of “hot” is for this restaurant but it’s definitely no where near hot.Food was so tasteless and bland for me!Chicken chow mein was just sprouts and no noodles????
This is my second time trying this restaurant and I think the food is great. They no longer offer dining-in, so take out is your only option. With a lot of chinese food restaurants, the dishes all tend to taste the same. With Rickshaw, each dish has a distinctive flavor, which is quite refreshing. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Have always had a fantastic experience ordering food here over the last 10 years. HUGE portions. The Chicken Balls are hands down the biggest Chicken Balls I've ever seen. They haven't brought back dine-in since post-covid, but that's alright. Takeout is always fresh and delicious.
The only reason I'm giving a 4 is because the rice, in most Chinese rice you get veg as well as the meat and of course rice, not here you get just rice and the particular meat you order. However the food itself is excellent
It's hard to get ahold of the restaurant to place and order but once you get your order in you'll be greeted with great portions and amazing food.It's truly worth the drive through Muskoka to get this take away
Ordered mixed up dishes missing. Dishes we didn't order in it. Plus burnt dried out honey garlic ribs. So sad it has always been amazing. 2 dishes went un garbage. What happened? So sad. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Busy but deservedly soYou will find better food in Toronto but then Gravenhurst is hardly Toronto.
