This is a new craft beer place in Chemainus. They don't have a kitchen, so no eats available (except for bags of Lays chips). I chatted with the man behind the counter about offering num nums from local suppliers (like how the craft beer joints in Vancouver offer Oyama Sausage and cheese pastries no refrigeration necessary and gives something local and artisan to nibble on with the craft beer). He did say that patrons were allowed to order from a nearby restaurant and have the food delivered to the brewery. Unfortunately, Chemainus and area does not have the quantity of Food Trucks available like we do in Vancouver but this is all a moot point I was there for the beer.... The beer was excell...
This place is a lot of fun. But best of all is the beer that is made on premises. My favorite is the Junk Punch IPA, which has a perfect balance of hoppiness and smoothness. They don't serve food here, but they do allow you to bring it on or have it delivered. Just ask them and they'll give you the low down on how to order from the best local restaurants that deliver. In the summer, they also have live music. So be sure to check out their schedule. And you can buy six packs for take out as you leave. Plus, they also give a lot back to the community. We just found out that they generously provide space to store recycled crafting items that are used by kids to create amazing art work for Canad...
While they don't serve food, they welcome outside food, and the bartender even provided us with napkins and took care of our trash. There's an outdoor seating area with a fire pit and some space heaters for those cooler evenings. Inside, you'll find plenty of small tables, an inviting bar, and even a pinball machine to enjoy. This was a fantastic stop for us, and we had the pleasure of chatting with some wonderful Canadians over beers. We can’t wait to return when we explore Vancouver Island again. Until then, cheers!
Had a flight and one of the rare times where I loved all 4 of my beers in the flight, next to impossible to choose a fave.Live music on their patio is fantastic as well, great summer evening spot.My pizza could have been better, but others I was with pizza was delicious so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Dropped in for flights of beer and got to enjoy them on the patio. This place has a nice vibe and is very clean. You should check it out.
