Visited this restaurant on Friday the 13th. December with friends from Ceylon. As a restaurant that has been known to me for several years, I was sure that the quality of the food and service we will receive. We were six people and all decided to have pizza and pasta. And also ordered an excellent bottle of Italian wine, which went very well with the food. Quality, taste, presentation and service were beyond expectations. Very attentive staff and very pleasant. We all had a great evening with a lot of humor. Mercato is an excellent restaurant, cheap and definitely worth a visit if you happen to stay nearby. Thanks again. In Switzerland for two weeks with Road Scholar Tour. Last night before returning to USA. Nine in our party. The restaurant is located at Fly Away Hotel. I had reservations. Pasta Mercado for me and woman had Risotto Taleggio small together with the proposed red wine. Also a misto salad. Salad was delicious and big. Pasta Mercado was okay. Risotto was excellent. Wine was very good. Limoncello and cookies brought on the house as a dessert. Service was excellent. Dining room very pleasant. Very recommended.
we returned to this place where we had our Easter in the past. again we had a nice lunch, served by a friendly and competent waiter. my lunch was delicious and well presented: bruschetta first curs followed by controfiletto all spugnole con asparagi verdi (steak with morels sauce and green spargel.) my wife genoss scaloppine di vitello al limone con risotto (val scallops in lomen sauce with white risotto.) will return definitiw to mercato. bravo to his chefs and waiters!
This restaurant is part of the hotel “ Flyaway ”. Authentic Italian dishes very tasty and well presented. Long service staff, give best attention to their customers.
