For our one-year anniversary, my partner and I decided to dine at The River Café in Brooklyn, a renowned spot with an impressive view of the Manhattan skyline. Unfortunately, while the setting was as picturesque as anticipated, the experience left much to be desired. We opted for the three-course meal, which was decent but far from remarkable. The dishes were well-prepared, but nothing truly stood out. The river cafe is always a tremendous dinning experience. The food, drinks, service and ambiance is truly one of a kind and worth every penny. I have been coming here for special occasions since I was a kid and it’s never changed. Every time I come they go beyond my expectations and I hope to keep coming back for many years to come.
The restaurant is so exquisite. The view is beautiful, especially if you seat by the window. You are right on the water. The food is delicious and memorable . The cocktails are on point and the wine recommended by the sommelier was just perfect. Overall, an unsurpassable experience.
Can’t recommend highly enough. We chose River Cafe as our last night in the US meal, and couldn’t have chosen better.
