I enjoyed the calzone at Rivertowne Pizza Deli, especially the sauce, which was delicious. However, I have to give only 2 stars because the customer service was disappointing. Great food can't make up for a poor attitude. When I walked in and greeted the staff, I received no response or smile—just a curt question about whether I was picking up. The man who told me my order would be ready in 10 minutes had an unfriendly tone and no smile as well. Both seemed unhappy to serve customers. When I returned to collect my order, none of the three employees inside said thank you or wished me a nice day, showing no appreciation. My husband and I are huge pizza enthusiasts, so when we moved to Dunes West from lower Mount Pleasant, we were excited to explore Rivertowne Pizza Deli. In less than two weeks, we've already been there twice, and it’s fantastic! The pizza perfectly balances a chewy and crispy texture, with flavors that truly capture the essence of New York-style pizza. And the garlic knots? Absolutely outstanding—they might just be the highlight of the menu. Although it’s not our top choice for dining in, we definitely see ourselves becoming regulars for takeout or delivery. We’ll be back soon!
We used to order pizza and wings from this place weekly. However, once they stopped using DoorDash and switched to the less reliable ChowNow, the service declined significantly. The young lady at the front desk is quite unwelcoming. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. It's a shame, as we genuinely enjoy the food.
Do not order online. They do not provide any support at the restaurant if the order is delivered late or is not the correct order. Rivertowne Pizza gave me a number to call and that is not helpful.

We order from them at least once a month! Dishes that are consistently good: pepperoni pizza, chicken fingers waffle fries, hot wings, tiramisu, carrot cake, eclair, coconut cake.
Wow oh wow- amazing pizza full of flavor and perfect crust. Greek salad was amazing and wings were perfect. Wonderful people and amazing food!
First time eating here. Was a great experience. Friendly staff and very attentive. Will stop again next time we're down.
The closest thing to NYC Pizza in Mt. Pleasant, and among the best pies in all of the low country. They do it right.

We ordered pizza and cannoli. The pizza was just average. The cannoli was outstanding. We will go back though.
