We came in with a party of 7 around 9:15 pm on a Friday night the hostess informed me it was 45 min wait. So we decided to order to go. My husband went back to the hostess stand to ask for menus instead of her saying sure the hostess tells him that her manager said they aren't seating anyone else. The hostess is the first person you see when you enter the restaurant she wasn't welcoming or kind. She looked at us like what are we doing there. Super disappointed in the food. We got the Santa Fe wrap, original chicken sandwich, bobbyless fry dip and side Caesar. The only thing eaten was the chicken sandwich. Maybe there was a rush to make orders. I’m not sure. But this is now the second place I have been to in the area that I would never recommend. I don’t know what was on the salad, but it was not Caesar. The Santa Fe wraps had basically raw veggies was hardly like warm. The fries bursted oil in your mouth from not being allowed to drain properly and being pulled out of the grease and thrown on a plate. The bobbyless dip was so hot that the ranch curdled. Just no. Please do better.
Great food, attentive service, and a nice atmosphere. I had the most tender burger I've ever tasted. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it more than other burgers I've had, but I polished it off in just about a minute and a half. If you're looking for a drink at a sports bar with a view of Coleman Blvd and The Shelter, and Juanita Greenberg is packed, then Kickin Chicken is definitely the spot to check out.
They have a spacious outdoor terrace, a large bar area for seating, and several tables available. The service was excellent, and our waitress offered great recommendations for our meal. The chicken wings, though small, were incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. The southwest egg rolls were also a standout. With so many options on the menu, you'll have plenty to choose from. Very happy with this restaurant! Very reasonable prices and attentive, quick, and polite service. We got the fried pickles (which were amazing), the loaded potato dippers and the mango shrimp tacos (also great). Would definitely recommend for someone looking for an inexpensive and delicious meal in Charleston.
Our server, Mackenzie, was exceptional! The service was generous and truly impressive. The food was delicious, and we couldn't get enough of it. The drinks were great as well, and we had a lovely, comfortable, and enjoyable time there! I highly recommend visiting, and I know I’ll be back again!
I have never had a burger this good EVER! Everything about it was right! I think I got every tater tot in the building on this plate! Huge portion. The service was on point as well!Parking: Nice safe area.
Nice, fun atmosphere. Wish we had been told about the Wednesday special, since we visited on a Wednesday. We found out about it AFTER we ordered. Over all, the food was good....bartenders were nice.
