Rizzo’s Pizza has the thinnest crust I’ve had in Astoria so far. The crust is extremely light and airy, relying heavily on the tomato sauce and cheese to deliver a lot of the flavor. I recommend going with a slice of their square Sicilian pie since this was by far the best slice out of the two. I probably won’t go out of my way to have Rizzo’s again, but do recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and craving some pizza.
The best in the neighborhood. Rizzo's pizza is by far my favorite pizza in the neighborhood. It is good if you stop for a slice, but as with most pizza places it is best if you order a whole cake, so it is hot and fresh. My favorite pizza on her menu is the Forzuta, which comes with homemade sausage, green peppers and onions. Her claim to fame is her Sicilian cake, but I personally prefer her regular crust.
Such a cozy little pizza spot with a big heart! The owner, Christian, was incredibly kind — he shared the story behind the place and even treated us to a delicious Sicilian slice. Nice, thin crust traditional NYC pizzas! Daiya cheese available instead of normal cheese. Veggie items labelled on menu online but not in store and no mention of Daiya cheese you have to ask. Got my pizza and other last minutes assortments through TooGoodToGo. This is a great deal. My son loved the pizza and the bbq chicken pizza was great too even though I'm a plain slice kinda girl. Can't wait to try the chicken roll and the pinwheels.

Love Rizzo’s! The thin-crust pies are awesomely crispy and on top of having a decent vegan menu section, any vegetable pizza can be substituted with Daiya mozzarella. Overall, it’s a little pricy, but it definitely hits the spot.
