Stopped at 6 different breweries, and this was by far the worst. Stood around for a few minutes to get a table and was eventually joined by another couple. Host finally arrives and attempts to seat them at a window table first. My wife wasn't having any of that and spoke up. It took several minutes for them to clean the table (poorly at that). Several minutes later, our beer (if you can call it that) arrived. Neither of us could finish them. Both tasted worse then if they were poured from the overflow collection under the taps. Nasty. I landed here after finding the Slipway in Thomaston closed. This is some of the worst food I have had in I can’t remember how long. The beer was skunked. And heavy handed. I was directed to the “Storm Surge” after I was told by the bartender that my first choice was referred to by patrons as “dirty dish water”. The storm surge was no better The fish and chips was greasy, not crisp, and the batter was raw on a few places. The fries were frozen McCain at best. This should be avoided at all cost. There are plenty of great choices in the area. Follow up: the food poisoning came in with a vengeance!!!!!
Dropped by in a rainy night during a fall visit. Being end if season other options were packed or closed so we gave it a go. Found some seating at the bar and met some other travelers. The staff was friendly and service was fast. Our sandwiches were very good and the selection of brews on tap were ample. Table space is limited however this place is definitely worth a stop for a quick beverage and bite. We would stop here again. The local crowd may not want this place to become popular but I have to say it was pretty good. They could use a bit more seating.
The best thing about this place is atmosphere as locals seem to frequent this place often. The food is also decently good; however, when I went, it was apparent that they were understaffed. Some of the food my group had was not hot as if it just came from the kitchen. Additionally, it took almost an hour for our food to arrive. All this place really needs is more staff and then it would earn a 5 star rating from me.

Their post covid hours suck, I'm not going to lie. But when you catch them open, the food, atmosphere, selections, and staff are all wonderful. Hopefully they will be open more as summer approaches! Also, the lobster Mac and cheese is a fav of mine but isn't available except during high summer.
Good food. A bartender was very good. The server at dining was not interesed about us, she passed us twice without any word. She was busy, but if she had time to take a look at us, she could say 'hey, I will be right there at host stand ' or smthg like that. And toilet was messy.
Food was alright. Steak and cheese sandwich was pretty skimpy on the meat. The pulled pork sandwich was good. Service was good. Ordered two beers and two sandwiches and don’t really feel like it was worth the $50 we paid. $60 with tip)
Steak and cheese sandwich is very tiny and hardly had and steak on it, not worth the price. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich however, was bigger and much more meat, and pretty tasty, I recommend that. Service was ok

Fun spot with some good, local beer. Cheese steak sandwich looked great, and we were in and out fast. Servers were all smiles, and it was a busy day.
The steak tips were tough and the service was slow. My colleague enjoyed the fish tacos.
