Eating at Rocky's feels like going back in time to the 90s in Madison, WI. The restaurant still has that nostalgic charm. I couldn't help but wonder if the parent company has the rights to the image of Jim Pederson, who played Rocky, because some of the movie posters seemed to be from after his death in 2016. Regardless, the pizza is delicious when eaten fresh at the restaurant, but I found that it doesn't hold up well when reheated.
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are like stepping back in time to the 1980s. It's a great nostalgic experience. Service is average, but overall it's a pleasant place to have dinner. I ordered online and got an email with a pizza ready time of 5:35. when I got there, I was told it was still 15 minutes out. Got my pizza at 5:50. Look, the pizza was great, they do a wonderful job.
