Thank goodness the food was decent because the service and ambience leave much to be desired. We made the mistake of thinking this would be a nice date night restaurant but the music (although good) was way too loud, leaving everyone around us chatting even louder. We were seated by the host and after 20 mins of waiting around, a busser came by with water, after which we couldn 't find any waiters to flag down (just a couple of bussers wandering around looking for empty plates). We almost left altogether. After another 10 mins, our host swung by to take our order. 1) I dragged my enkelin to a meal there last night. we sat quickly on a stand in the back corner. our waiter seemed good, but the dinge changed. After we got our drinks and ordering, the only time we saw the waiter when the food was delivered. he, as well as the rest of the staff, spent most of the night laughing and talking to the bartenders. I’m 6’6, so when I got up, at 2 occasions that weep my hands to get anyone’s attention and the only people who noticed were other mozens, oh good. our food and service were excellent! that was my first experience to eat here. I loved the whole experience. our server and their partner were fabulous, excellent consulting, timing and attention! we started with some items from the happy Hour menu: honey hoisin wing, winton fish tacos, and the garnel and gemüsetempura. the proportions were as expected with today’s inflation and the “fortune hour”. we have wrapped with the yakisoba and scallops and the garnelen sampi (unusual for Japanese restaurant), but still very tasty. the court could have been a little better with accompanying or noodle rounded. the chicken wings and the yakisoba were my favorites. the sauce they serve with the tempura...
I haven't been to hermosa beach for some time and landed here because paradise sushi had long closed an old hangout. the hostess sat us, our waitress was attentive and helpful. eating, the atmosphere and the ambiente were excellent. it was a Sunday afternoon happy hour prices very reasonable.

Good food, Good service, Good music! What more can you ask for. A great place to go with a group or on a date. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone that is visiting the area!

Good, quality sushi. Nice service. Slightly high priced, but typical for the local area.
