This tiny restaurant in the garden of Philippe Rey's home is on the mountain road out of St Florent (on the right hand side exactly 15 km from there on the way to Calvi) and is near the hamlet of Casta. It has fantastic sunset views over the Haute Corse desert and has probably only 25 covers and a large wood fired outdoor grill. Philipe does it all (maitre D, waiter, chef, raconteur) with great energy! A limited menu of rustic (and excellent) charcuterie, quiche or melon might be followed by perfect smoky entrecote, lamb cutlets or sanglier, from the grill with some fries and vegetables. Local wine by the glass, bottle or pichet. Quite how he does it is a mystery but it doesn't seem frenetic...
A ramshackle stone building on the side of the road. We would have missed it had we not been looking for it based on the great reviews. Simple formula, simple but delicious menu, perfectly cooked meats from an open fire set into a wall. Service excellent, and both the owner and waiter couldn’t have been more engaging. Dining area was right along open fields so we had a large bull for company, the smell of the maquis and a super sunset view back over St Florent.
At 10 km from Saint-Florent, a place very simple, with a great view from the restaurant. Dinner is only outside. The one man band owner does an incredible job managing customers, cooking, taking orders, serving and also kindly entertaining clients. Dish is great: nice and healthy salads, great roasted meat, delicious desserts, supported by a great patrimony of wine. Tree nice and sweet cats are part of a great crew. Great experience! Après deux expériences culinaires négatives coup sur coup sur notre parcours, voilà un restaurant qui nous a remonter le moral! Petit resto typique en extérieur avec une vue magnifique! Patron extra et cuisine à savoureuse préparée avec cœur et ça se ressent! Mention spéciale aux pommes de terre à la marjolaine et aux digeos! ;-) Prix très raisonnables.A ne manquer sous aucun prétexte lors de votre passage dans les Agriates!

Très bonne table, authentique. Cadre magnifique sur les hauteurs de st Florent. Calme et bonne cuisine aux rendez-vous. Pas de chichi... le patron génial qui fait son métier pour ses clients.À recommander!!!!Réservation impérative. Pas de CB, c'est la seule petite chose à prévoir.
Un petit endroit où passer une soirée au top !! La carte est restreinte mais c'est un gage de qualité, les produits sont frais, la viande au feu de bois divine, le cadre et l'ambiance décontractés, bref tout ce qu'on aime !! Je conseille vivement !! Mais n'oubliez pas de réserver
Un accueil et service impeccable et drôle, un paysage très agréable et très joli au coucher du soleil. Des assiettes copieuses et préparées avec des produits frais et de saison. Une très belle soirée pour clôturer notre séjour.
Très bon restaurant, le service impeccable, la nourriture simple mais délicieuse et une vue sur les montagnes imprenable! Je conseille vivement, en famille, en couple ou encore entre amis.

Très bon accueil, du fait du peu de nombre de tables, nous étions dans une ambiance calme et agréable avec une superbe vue. Repas copieux et de qualité surtout!! Je recommande!
