Apparently I am a bit behind the game as in trendy Shoreditch (well at least too trendy for me) you can be happy slash sad slash angry all at the same time. Well, at least the people around here talk like this. Reminds me of my twitter speak friend. In any case, with such an amalgamation of emotion, quicksilver bouts of rage slash hungry (I thought the word for this was hangry), I began to have doubts about whether I really should be in the area. As I’m not trendy slash cool. I would not like to end up forgotten slash hungry. That might be sad slash depressed.
We visited the restaurant on Carnaby Street today, and it was fantastic! The appetizers, including the chicken satay and blackhead Thai sausage, were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every bite. For our main courses, we tried the drunken noodles and yellow curry noodles, both of which were scrumptious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food, which is hard to come by in London. It took me seven years to discover this gem! The seating can be uncomfortable when it's busy, and the stools might leave your backside feeling a bit sore after about 20 minutes. However, the food and service were fantastic!
Delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered the flat noodles, yellow curry and basil chicken. All were very tasty, though the basil chicken was very different from the minced version (pad krapow gai) I was expecting! The meal was perfectly complemented by some cold Chang beer. Very nice and cousy place to eat Thai food where the usual known are available from Pad Thai to several others. Mango with sticky rice was not bad but the coconut cream and crunchy topping was missing. Service was ok.
