Rose Cottage is a fantastic spot in Tuggeranong for drinks or a meal. The staff is friendly, and the historic buildings and live bands add to the charm. However, I would caution against paying for a function in the marquee or gardens, as the septic tanks cannot handle the crowd. Some friends of mine recently paid a significant amount to have a section of the garden for their event, only to find that the area was unusable due to overflowing septic tanks. This is a recurring issue that needs to be addressed by Rose Cottage management before booking events.
The restaurant offers excellent beer and delicious food. Customers place their orders at a window and then pick it up when their table is ready. They serve themselves, so I deducted points for service (I am inexperienced) since there are no servers. However, the staff was still very friendly. I tried the classic burger and it was delicious. The restaurant has multiple dining rooms, some enclosed and some open-air, which are perfect for enjoying good weather. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit from the city.
Friday Night Pasta nights are the best. $29 pp and the choice of pastas, the Antipasto platter is great. Anthony does a awesome job in the kitchen cooking the meals, and Tracey makes sure everyone has a great time and refills. Have been twice for...the Pasta night and will be back again. Breakfast is always great as weve been many times, can't fault Kracked Pepper Cafe
This place seemed a little scattered when I arrived, not knowing exactly where to go but somehow I really enjoyed it. I had a pretty damn good schnitzel. It's pub food and pub atmosphere. I feel they could do a lot more with the place,...but perhaps the pot luck atmosphere adds to the place. I would go back good place to go with a group.

I was just here twice. but both of them I had a fantastic night with eating, drinking, dancing and singing with the live band. there are many different areas to accentuate different groups. I always look forward to a night on the rose...cottage I highly recommend going with a group of friends and relaxing at the fire.
Usually it is a great place specially on weekends they usually have live music. The food is good. However, during the festive season they have a lot of private groups, which means some of the bars are not accessible. Unfortunately not all beers are available...at all bars.
The menu is simple cheap, quality of the food was good (schnitty pizza night). Plenty of places to sit, inside out. Live one man band was excellent. Great crowd the night we were there. Great atmosphere.
jornada familiar, cada uno a su aire, te compras la comida, la bebida y te sientas tranquilamente a comertelo, las pizzas fabulosas, merece la pena ir a Rose cottage.

this is an amazing place to sit with many happy places and host a pint or a meeting. on st. patricks there was a band and Irish dancer.
