Absolute must-do! We met Ollie (our ranger) at the triangle car park and we left on time to meet the lovely highland cows. He is very knowledgeable and chats away from feeds to silly stories of the moo's. The experience itself was fabulous, Ollie bought snacks for the moo's so they were happy to see us. Also saw a few extremely adorable calves. There are also lots of other activities within Rothiemurchus so just go, you won't regret it. Absolutely stunning part of the Country. Beautiful mature Woodland. Stunning Loch with sandy beach. Great well maintained woodland paths and picnic areas. Really nice gift Shop with lovely unique Cards, Gifts and Christmas decorations. Top quality food and baking. A tremendous experience. Amazing experience where got to feed, give a few scratches, and visit a herd of Highland Cows on a working farm. You get to learn about Highland cattle as you are led by a ranger onto the property and then participate in some feeding. Our teenagers had a blast riding the quad bikes, and prior experience wasn't necessary at all. We wanted to stop more often to take photos, but we weren't sure if that was allowed and didn't want to hold up the rest of the group. What a fantastic place to stay! I didn't want to leave and can't wait for my next visit. I went on a weekday and there was no wait at all. I'm not sure if reservations are necessary, but I highly recommend this spot!

We had such a great time with the cows! I wish we had known there are also a ton of other things to do around the area! Really easily could spend a couple full days here, but we only scheduled a couple hours.
