I stopped by the drive-thru to get a strawberry shortcake, which I used to love when I worked at Roy Rogers in the '80s. I was a bit let down that the ice cream wasn't soft serve, but I did enjoy the classic biscuit and strawberries. However, the large soda came in a flimsy plastic cup that required both hands to safely lift it from my cup holder for a drink. I believe they should revert to using sturdy paper cups.
My car was beinf fixed,i saw accross the lot in GAMBRILLS a Roy rogers.I went to counter,asked the man do you give a small FREE COFFEE TO AGE 55+ ..LIKE DUNKIN DONUTS DOES? RUDELY HE SAYS...NOPE.I wanted a coffee,i was COLD...I HAD TO rummage through my entire purse...for spare change..to PAY 2.11 FORa small coffee.I WILL NOT...ever EAT here.Rudeness HE COULDVE...DONE SOMETHING to help.HE DID NOT.
I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the Wild Dill chicken sandwich, which includes pickle fries on top, and it was so tasty that I forgot to snap a photo! I really appreciated the separate toppings bar that allows you to customize your meal to your liking—I loaded up on pickles and onions! I can't wait to go back!

I was very disappointed! The food was unappetizing. My roast beef sandwich was soggy and tasted like they just tossed some deli meat between two buns and microwaved it. My mother's bacon cheeseburger was dry and flat, with only a few crumbs of bacon beneath the patty. Given the price of $23.40, I expected much better from a Roy Rogers.
I'm a handworker and I like good food to support my energy needs. Roy Rodgers satisfies my needs and at a great value when compared to all the other choices a person has. The others don't have the quality that Roy Rodgers offers as that Double R Bar burger is the bomb for me. Wish to see more restaurants.
Dried 1/4 pound cheeseburger luke warm fries and a coke that was flat. When I asked about the burger her response was sharp and as if it were a bother.
AS WITH ALL FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS.. PRICES HAVE EXPLODED !!*WE EAT OUT AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE!
