“It's alright I guess” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 7 December 2014 via mobile I've frequented this public house a number of times, however I felt it was time to review it. The overall feel is a nice one, asides from all the moaning but that's expected when you get a group of blokes together drinking (very expensive) lagers. TV is half decent, company half decent, the peanuts and crisp selection is divine, and the quizzes held are wonderful; although the kiwi quiz master isn't the easiest to understand it's always a laugh. The one drawback is the landlord, Michael, or Mick as he is more lovingly known. Yes, he's a very funny man. Yes, he runs the bar excellently. And yes his banter is alright. But,...
One of our favourite local pubs, visit at least once a week on our way back from riding or on a Saturday night. Super friendly and super helpful staff, nothing is too much bother and they will accommodate you where they can. Do super platters and have theme events. I just love the place
The rental experience was fantastic, with a wonderful atmosphere. On Thursday evenings, the Howe & Co chip van arrives at 7:30 PM and serves delicious, freshly cooked fish and delightful homemade fish cakes. Mick even provides plates, knives, and forks for everyone.
The owner always makes me feel welcome whenever I visit my brother Chip. I enjoy a big pint of Guinness while I'm there. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
