Rubens is my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and fantastic and the atmosphere is fun. The menu has the standards you expect in a Mexican restaurant (and they are delicious), but they also have some other wonderful meals. I always have a hard time to decide what to choose. Your table page Guacamole is a must like its addictive chips and salsa. Oh, and they do the best margaritas. Don't miss eating out on Saturday in summer.
Really nice spot. Stopped by one Friday afternoon around 3:30 for a quick bite. Service was prompt and the staff were lovely. They opened up the front shutters to let the light in and some fresh air. It was a nice afternoon in March, the weather was cool and the sun was out. The margarita was yummy and strong. The portions were huge. I would definitely return, perhaps for dinner.
We were there Sat 10/29/16. I had the Blackened Chicken Fajita, my husband had a Cheese Enchilada and Beef Burrito. Both were incredible. Chicken was fall apart tender. Spicy salsa for the fresh chips Yummmy !!!
We love Rubens Cafe, staff greets you and knows you by name, great food, excellent ambiance. Perfect for couple's night out or to bring the whole family. This is our #1 choice when we want to go out in town.
Hard shell tacos were soggy. Enchiladas Suizas hardly had any salsa verde. Flavor wasn?t there. Next time I?ll just buy the ingredients and make it myself. Won?t be coming back.
The ceviche de camerones is just amazing. Perfect shrimp, delicious fresh lime juice. Just fantastic. Salmon fajitas are out of control. Staff is so friendly and attentive.
Wonderful place. The Chilean Sea Bass is so good. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Very recommended.
