Sweet little Trattoria in Little Falls. We stopped here during a ride for lunch. Service was fast and very friendly. The food was good (very large portions, we had the Gnocchi and Chicken Giovanni) and the beverage selection was missing something (especially in terms of beer), but it was still a great value for money. I wouldn't make it pay a little more for the ducks if they pulled up the quality a bit.
The escarole appetizer was outstanding. I had a very good prime rib and my husband had the eggplant Parm. Good tangy tomato pasta sauce, not overly herby. Will definitely go back. We were a large group and all of our food and drinks were right and served to the right person. Special allergy requirements were accommodated. The musician was fun and entertaining. Friendly staff. Plenty of good options on the menu and portions were nice sized. Lots of fun on Wednesday night with the one man band. Everything in Ruggieros is delicious, all homemade and beautifully presented. The service is always great, the prices are good, the restaurant is always clean, and its menu is extensive! We recommend it!!
