My friends and I had a wonderful time at Rumba Cubana in Clifton, NJ for lunch. The food was excellent, the restaurant was beautiful, and the company was even better. We started with the Calamares Rumberos and El Rumberito (a sampler), followed by the Mofongo Camerones with a Lobster Tail, Pescado Relleno, and Pollo Rumbero, and finished off with Churros and Flan de Coco, accompanied by a Rumba's Cadillac Margherita. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu.
Excellent Cuban dishes. We tried Crema de Malanga; Vaca frita and Rabo encendido; excellent food; nice seasoning, very Cuban taste. Also Moros excellent and a special dessert a Guava Cheesecake! I can't believe I haven't written a review yet, but this place is the best! Everyone's service is exceptional, from the person who greets you, to each of the waiters, and especially Anniel and Anna at the bar. The service is top-notch and the food is also amazing. I just ate here with my family and the service was excellent!!! They were so attentive with us. One of my family members spilled a glass by accident and they immediately came to help and offered him a new dish since some wine spilled into it. Wonderful atmosphere. The portion sizes of the Ropa Vieja at this restaurant are decreasing. Additionally, they charge a 3% fee for credit card purchases. It is not fair to raise prices while reducing the amount of food provided. For takeout, the food was rated a 4, service a 3, and atmosphere a 3.
We visited this restaurant, and the wait time was 35min, but they sat us in within 15min. David was our server, and he was incredible, including the whole staff. Everyone was very kind and the service was amazing!!(FOOD WAS DELICIOUS)
I went to the restaurant with two friends. We each ordered a different dish and all of them were excellent! I had the Cubano sandwich, which was the best I have ever had.
Cuban style food. Mojitos looked good. Update: Moved out of state however, revisited August 2023. Still very good. Wife and I enjoyed the Mojitos.
