Amazing experience from service to food. Kathy our waitress/server was the best. She informed us about the portion sizes and warned us of the hot plates to definitely make sure we weren’t going to be idiots and touch them, lol. She was extremely thoughtful and hospitable, learning that it was our anniversary dinner so she decorated our table with some sequins and gave us a dessert on her while singing us a cute little tune. Hands down the best service we have ever had. The steaks we ordered were the TBone steak and the bone in New York strip, which we ordered medium. I have been a patron of this steakhouse in the garden town for 16 years. I have been trying to make a reservation for a 50th birthday celebration for the past 3 weeks. When I called today after not receiving any confirmation for weeks, I was told to book online for parties of 10 or more. I called again and was eventually contacted by the manager, who claimed that their staff had spoken to me and told me the date and time I requested. This was a lie. I have been a loyal customer for 16 years, and to be treated in such a disrespectful manner by the event coordinator is unacceptable. The manager's response was dishonest and disappointing.
I visited Ruth's Chris to celebrate my son's achievements. He ordered the lobster mac and cheese, but unfortunately there was a hair baked into it. This was disappointing as it was his main dish. Ruth's Chris, this should not happen, especially when everyone is supposed to be wearing hair nets and the food should be inspected before serving. The quality of service and food at Ruth's Chris has declined over the years. It is not worth the price. However, the waitress provided good service.
My wife and I visited the GC restaurant last week. It was a terrible experience, extremely overpriced. The hostess with black hair was arrogant and seemed to prioritize Opentable reservations over actual guests. The manager with glasses at the door was unprofessional and did not meet our expectations. Our server/waiter Corey, was an excellent host… The food was delicious, from the appetizer to the main course… Michael Stephanie made some great Apple martinis.. Whenever you consider dining in Garden City check them out! Thanks to their entire staff for a wonderful meal and their hospitality….
Food as always was delicious and service being top notch. Kathy our server was amazing to myself and my son. I suggest the Filet with the Bleu Cheese Crust, and as for the sides they never miss with the Sweet Potato Casserole or Lobster Truffle Mac n Cheese!
Fantastic experience at this location. Waiter was attentive and makes top notch cocktails. The portion sizes were just right and we were able to finish everything we ordered. The fried Calamari is delicious and out price fixe entrees came out perfect.
