Very sad to see a place like this go from an elite category to a very expensive fast food place with good food. Ruth had been our special go to place for birthdays, anniversary or any other special date for years. On this last visit everything changed. The hostess was borderline rude We did not get as much as a welcome, she was definitely having a bad day. The waiter was not rude but definitely not very pleasant and wanting to get us out of there as soon as possible he even brought our check without us asking for it or him asking if we wanted something else I guess he decided my wife and I would not have an other drink and it was time for us to go. Great food, and wonderfully attentive service. I was irritated, however, when I asked the waiter if it was Happy Hour on cocktails (it was), and he replied that Happy Hour prices only applied to service at the bar, and invited me to "belly up to the bar" to get Happy Hour prices on our cocktails; they were full price at our dinner table. I'm cheap enough to do so, and was rather miffed at this management policy The cocktail I ordered, The Gambler's Old Fashioned, was superb

We went to Ruth’s Chris for our Anniversary Dinner. We had a reservation and were seat immediately. Our server, Gabriel was very attentive and polite and catered to our special occasion. A couple of other managers stopped to wish us a Happy Anniversary. Overall an excellent experience

The filet mignon steak is just delicious and tender and cooked to perfection. The service was really good. They need to lower the price of the cocktails as the price is ridiculously expensive. Ruth's Chris is the best steak house in San Antonio Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Mashed potatoes not hot. Lobster had too much seasoning and a little overcooked/dry. Good job on steaks. Nice extras for our anniversary Server was great
