This Colombian restaurant and café is cool and authentic. The service is friendly and the place is very clean. Despite appearing small from the outside, the interior is surprisingly spacious. The food was delicious, with standout items being the empanadas and the flavorful and crispy chicken. The Patacones were good overall, but the fried plantains were a bit dry and lacked flavor. While they weren't our favorite, the chicken and beef dishes were tasty, especially when paired with the sauces. The Especial Sasha's was good overall, even though some individual components were lacking.
I can only speak to Lunch currently, however it was very tasty! It is absolutely worth a go, and I imagine the dinner is even better. The food tasted pretty fresh and the wait staff was friendly. The prices were great and you received a nice portion for the price. The sauces on the table were good with a large variety in flavor. It would be nice if those sauces had labels or indications of flavoring or spice level but by placing a dollop on the edge of your plate you can
Very good! I got the stuffed Pollo Desmachado and the Patacon Sacha and they were both good. Pretty heavy in the meat also, which is a happy plus. They also brought out 3 sauces, I couldn?t really identify what any of them were. Alls I know is that they tasted good. I tried not to overdo the saucing since it was my first time and I wanted to taste the unaltered food. Pictures attached. The small item on the left is the Patacon Sacha. I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and my only complaint is that they are closed on Sundays. This is actually a good problem to have. I went back today and the food was delicious. When my Colombian wife suggested going there, I knew the quality was great. Stopped in to try Colombian for my first time, armed with some advice on what to get from a friend. I was visiting the area from Rochester, NY and had stopped at the quilt shop up the road. I was happy to get a table, and watch some world cup while trying the food. The food was delicious and service was great. Loved my experience here and will definitely be back next time I visit!
This restaurant is extremely authentic. I was amazed by the generous portion sizes for the prices. Everything was both affordable and delicious. We were able to feed a family of four with drinks for under $50 and still had leftovers to take home. The staff was incredibly patient and attentive, offering helpful menu suggestions.
here on a recommendation of a friend. eating is sensational. menu is very good price and after 5-7 times the placement togo ordering is the food and order perfect. the personal is always very friendly and the drinks are stout. I will recommend that to everyone who loves good food. their arepas are the hands below the best.
This was our first time here and it was a great experience! The staff helped figure out what we should order and man they were very helpful. Great service and great prices. The food portions were a good size. My only problem was the chicharron (fried pork belly). In my opinion it was over cooked and super dry. I would give it another try next time I'm in the area. Everything else was great.
