This place is amazing. It's an italian restaurant that's located near Kaufman's studio that offers really scrumptuous home made Italian food. If not for the wonderful service from our server and busser, the time spent there would been miserable. Food was very good as well, except for the side salad. Very loud private party was taking place during our visit. Their music was BLASTING and really had an impact to the overall ambiance of the dining room as we were looking for a quiet dinner. So I went there for dinner, Chicken parm, what is usually a basic staple to classic Italian america food. Well it was probably the worst food I’ve ever tasted! For $31 it should have been really good. Park side in Corona is probably the best classic Italian food in the city, and they only charge $25 for this classic dish. With that being said Sacs place is probably the worse Chicken parm I’ve ever had!!! I’ve had better on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom!!!
Sitting outside right at dusk with a nice breeze, the rainbow lights on the telephone booths, a coke and an amazing slice from Sacs is a must do for anyone hanging out in Astoria. The pizza is perfect crispy yet soft, tangy sauce and a good stretchy amount of mozz! The bars great, staff is friendly and its such a perfect date spot.

I’m frequently told I’m extremely critical when it comes to restaurants so believe me when I say this place is great. The food was really good from appetizer to dessert and the wait staff was extremely nice and attentive.
I can't say enough and still wouldn't do it justice. You have to go, Deliciously delicious, the Pizza, the ravioli, and they even had some live entertainment. They make a mean Manhattan. Go.....

In town for a work conference and I luckily stumbled upon Sac’s Place and ate in their outdoor pizza area. It was quick, easy, and delicious.
This place is one of my favorites in Astoria! Everything on the menu is so delicious, we ordered take out there next day!
