I've visited this restaurant several times in the past and have always left feeling impressed and satisfied. However, on this visit, my partner and I were quite disappointed. The service was really subpar. While I usually don’t mind slow service during busy times, this was distinctly poor. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes just to place our order, and it took an unusually long time for our food to arrive. There were plenty of food runners and bus staff, but inexplicably, only two waitstaff on duty. Overall, the service left much to be desired…
As my families honorary picky eater, I had great apprehension when one of my coworkers suggested we go to Saffron for a work lunch. He was far too excited about taking the group to decline so away we went. Upon entering, it is beautiful inside! The service is prompt and excellent. The food? WOW! So freaking delicious and is now a weekly stop for my husband and me. Expand your palate and check out Saffron. You won't be disappointed!
This is probably the best Indian restaurant I've ever dined at. Although the food takes a little while to arrive, it’s definitely worth the wait. If you're a vegetarian, you absolutely have to try the chili paratha with paneer lababdar. I did find the biryanis here to be lacking, though.
This is the best Indian restaurant in South Carolina. The food and service were outstanding! I highly recommend trying the dessert as well. Just a heads up: after enjoying a meal here, you might find that most other Indian restaurants will fall short!
