We dined at the Safran Restaurant two nights ago, after reading several reviews on TripAdvisor.Whilst it is a small restaurant, there is an outdoor annexe attached for summer or not-to-cold-an-evening dining. Given the cold and wet weather, we chose to eat indoors, in the restaurant which is simply but nicely decorated. We were promptly seated and given menus by a gentleman, whom we assume was the owner of the restaurant.We opted for the Formule menu of Entrée, Main course and Dessert, at 20 E each. 6/10/14. By chance we chose this restaurant with hits bright awning that caught my attention, before shopping for vacationer provisions. Everything was superb, the best. The service by a wonderful waiter. The coffee my wife and I needed later in morning, having missed our breakfast. The chicken prepared for me and my grandson with the most delicate rice and wonderfully seasoned fresh vegetables. My wife's soup, refreshing and flavorful. We will be going back before we leave 6/24/14 for Minneapolis

We stopped at Le Safran during an evening Autumn stroll near our hotel. The decor was very inviting, the menu looked promising, and we were not disappointed. Each course was lovingly prepared and presented. The waiter was attentive, but not intrusive - when we engaged him in conversation, it was quite pleasant. We sated ourselves more than we intended, because everything was so good - heavenly desserts and coffee to finish off a wonderful evening meal.

First night in Paris Great value, prepared with care Really tasty freshly cooked food with some great standards and some interesting alternative dishes. Never had veal with rhubarb and celery before. It was great
Great for a family and great to taste Persian food for a very reasonable price. We had in many places Persian food and it was better than most other places. It is simple, but very friendly and casual.

We dropped in for lunch and had an excellent meal. Good value, a friendly atmosphere and an exotic menu. The starter with assorted mezes should not be missed.
