My family and I usually love this place, and they have always been very welcoming and supportive of my service dog. Because of their friendly atmosphere, we decided to bring the whole family and book a reservation two weeks in advance for their patio seating in order to bring the family dogs as well. The manager assured us that they could accommodate our party of 9, and all was well.The day we arrived, we were very tired from hiking and were very excited for our meal. Unfortunately, our server was absolutely rude, and having a bit of a mental breakdown. She told us she wasn’t ready for the reservation, and we told her it was okay and we could wait so she could have time to put things togethe...
This is the best patio in town. The staff were so accommodative and helpful. We brought our pups along and the staff brought out water for them immediately without our request. Not to mention, food was amazing and it was the best in the valley. Ample of free parkings. Must check out this place when you are in Canmore!!! The food was good. The problem was the three of us ordered 3 very different dishes (chicken cordon-bleu, lamb shank Thai curry bowl) got essentially the same sides vegetables. Everyone got cauliflower, zucchini broccoli, grilled on the side. That being said, the chicken cordon-bleu with the smoked ham was excellent, the lamb shank was tender well glazed the Thai curry with fish on top of a bed of coconut milk infused rice was excellent. The grilled asparagus was superb and the wine offerings were perfect for any selection.For the price point, I expected a more interesting main course.
The place is very nice but the service food for the price my family paid was absolutely terrible. Sheila was our server this evening we got nothing but terrible attitude from the beginning to the end. It was my moms wedding thankfully we made the best out of it. Do not go to this place if you desire good service for a special day. The online menus that we were sent via email were not the same when we got there causing more frustration confusion although we did preorder also had to reorder when we got there. The food was okay. However, the service was not good at all. Especially since it was not so busy. It started with the menus. We were 6 people with one drink menu. Requested a second one which came after a long time when we already decided on the drinks. The waitresses seemed to lack focus and one drink was never served that was requested. The Burger tasted great. The mussels were great. The other items we ate were okay. We would not go to this establishment again.
Just perfect.We enjoyed a great dinner here. The choice of dishes was very good and the food was delicious. We also had great wine with it.The place is not too big but calm and welcoming.The waitress was very attentive and helpful. My parents and I went here on Sunday morning for brunch and it was DELICIOUS! We shared the Train Wreck and it was anything but that, the pancakes were delightfully light and fluffy, the sausages were perfect and flavourful and the house made apricot jam tasted fresh and was the perfect amount of sweetness. Highly recommend :
