Came for an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. We loved the spacious, unique and charming room. The location was beautiful, but everything else was a giant disappointment. Check-in was disorganized at best. No one seemed to know what was going on. I had to ask for bottled water for our room 4x before being told we would be charged, then that they had none. We planned on a nice dinner, but ended up sitting in a pub style room and eating sub standard burgers because the dining room was closed for the season . Full disclosure, my review is based on service only, as we waited so long to be acknowledged after being told to sit down and chose our own table (took 15 minutes for any server to say anything to us or even just say they would be with us shortly) and then get our drink order (25 minutes) we decided not to order food. Only positive is that the view is beautiful. We came on a Saturday evening and there were only 4 other tables outside. We thought it would be busy and were prepared to wait, but this was ridiculous given the lack of patrons there. One waitress, maybe 2 working. Stopped for brunch on a September Friday to be told they aren’t doing brunch now. Bummer. However, we did totally enjoy our experience- free tastings (additional charge for more) and exceptional cocktails! Did a gin “flight” and a Sazerac cocktail and they were delicious. Sat at the bar area and was very comfortable with nice view over patio out to the water. Did have a limited lunch menu and our steak sandwich w/fries and huge salad were really, really good. Very knowledgeable staff and pleasant conversation. So glad we went (and discounted some less-than reviews).
The servers and bartenders are fantastic and attentive. The cook, Steven, spends more time in the dining area than the kitchen, though, and seems more interested in telling the rest of the staff what to do. This never would have happened with the old kitchen staff.Food drinks: Drinks were great! Food was messy, but good.

Won't return, although the view is nice and the wait staff tried her best, we waited an hour and a half for French toast on a day when they were clearly not busy. Although we called for reservations, they were not prepared for us, poor management. Food was average.
This was our second visit for drinks. We haven’t had any food yet, but can say that the cocktails are fantastic. The patio is gorgeous offers a great sunset view. The staff is really friendly. We will definitely be back to try the brunch.
Amazing staff, location, food, and drinks. Went early for brunch and the staff was great in providing a great tasting experience at the bar. Overall, had a great time here and would absolutely go again. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
A beautiful location and building. The food was nice, loved the po'boy! They are very generous with tasting their spirits as well. Recommend the absinthe, but know that the spirits can be a bit harsh. Service: 5
