Our office just moved into this area and I am on the hunt for a solid Mexican spot to replace Jalapenos in Midtown Sacramento for my taco cravings. unfortunately, this place is unlikely to be my new spot. first, I went on a Tuesday, thinking it might be a Taco Tuesday . it was so the tacos were $2.25 instead of $2.50. Huh? a quarter off is not a real deal. Plus, I realized after I ordered that there was no deal on the meal that came with beans and rice. The tacos were mediocre. the beans were barely warm. the rice lacked flavor. the best thing was the chips, but it was paired with lackluster salsa so even they were not great. i might go back at some point and see if they were just having a b...
You can always tell how authentic a Mexican restaurant is by its salsa. We always ask for extra red salsa because it’s our favorite! Our go-to dish is crispy tacos, especially with birria. Tonight, I decided to mix things up and ordered asada fries, but I replaced the asada with birria. It was a delicious twist! The portion sizes are fantastic too. We’re a family of seven, and we eat here every week!
The restaurant was quite enjoyable. The crunchy tacos were fantastic, and both the chicken and carnitas were flavorful. The beans were excellent! The rice was decent but a bit bland. The salsa was also just okay. The woman who took my order was very friendly and patient while I took my time deciding, and she provided helpful explanations of several dishes.
We are ordered a total of four ranch waters 2 each. He asked what that was I told him. I received my bill for $141.38 I questioned it he said he was the owner Eddie. He topped our drinks thought that was sweet. He actually charged us for $30 a shot and then $10 custom charged. I tried calling the man and employees will not tell me the owners name. I enjoyed the Carne Asada Super Nachos and the Carne Asada Soft Tacos, both of which were delicious and met my expectations perfectly—no complaints at all. You place your order first and then find a seat, and the fountain drinks are self-service. Overall, it was a great spot for a Mexican food lunch, and I would definitely come back.
Good food, friendly staff, fair price. I ordered take out but the restaurant/bar looked worth coming back to. Probably a great spot to catch part of the game, or sit outside on a nice day. Looking forward to coming back.
If you're from SoCal. Avoid this place or just Mexican food in general. The special quesadilla is wet with birria juice and the tacos dorados aren't fried. The rice and beans are even blah!!! Soooooo disappointed Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
