This restaurant was recommended by a Rumford Maine fire dept employee as I wanted scallopsGot there to learn they were sold out of scallops lol it turns out they had one sea scallop left and the chef happily cooked it for me. He served it to me with a side of Rizzuto with a cheese sauce, absolutely delicious!I ended up ordering the filet mignon and it came with mashed potatoes, green beans and a gravy. It was very good but next time I want to try it without the gravy. This restaurant is fantastic, although a bit puzzling. The atmosphere is laid-back and rustic, featuring charming decor such as a cow painting on wooden slats, metal artwork made from reclaimed wood, and a relaxed dress code. The menu offers a delightful blend of elevated dishes alongside comforting classics like balsamic duck and country fried steak. They’re also open all day for most days of the week! The front-of-house staff deliver an impressively high level of service, which is surprising for a small establishment in the heart of Maine. I highly recommend this place—5 out of 5 stars!
The gourmet meal we experienced at this restaurant was among the best I've had in the past year. I can't emphasize enough the freshness of the ingredients; everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully seasoned, and thoughtfully crafted. This place is a must-visit for anyone in the area, and we will definitely return the next time we’re in Maine!

As for vegetarian options, I ordered the veggie dish simply because I love vegetables, and it was incredible. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the lemon sauce drizzled over the greens was absolutely heavenly.
Fantastic restaurant, the owner Mary was super pleasant and welcoming.Our server Lila was the same. The food was delish! We will definitely be back the next time we are visiting this cute little town of Wilton Maine.
First time at S P and would come back to try other menu items. Spicy chicken sandwich was great as was the New England Clam chowder. Chicken salad sandwich and fries were OK. Service was friendly and efficient.

Went in for a late lunch. Two of us had the bacon bacon burger. It was good but definitely not enough of the bacon jam. Fries were good. Service was amazing and all of the staff was super friendly.
