the best..Periode! for over 30 years on the hill...many bikes..many great memories..have tried other caffes, but no like magda 's...big food...good prices..lovely staff..If I pop over and salt pepper is 't open, I don't even make disturbing to go elsewhere. magda and her family all beautiful and the only thing I would change is to have some decent bike pics on the walls. the best bar no!
Well everyone I am the manager of Deliveroo in Newcastle and I meet my team at salt pepper, were we fill up on the lovely food that mamas cooks and she believes that food should be as fresh as it can and cooks every day and always has a smile on here face even if its busy. we go there everyday as the food keeps us going all day.
Like Aran said, this really is the best café in the world. Clean, excellent food and great value with a friendly smile. Full English is a must here without a doubt.
