Recently visited for breakfast found that this could be an amazing place; however, we didn’t find the staff very welcoming and the cleaning standards in the dining room are not up to scratch. There was food debris on the window sills next to the tables and the floor again needed a sweep. The tables were clean, so I would presume that the crumbs are just being wiped onto the surrounding surfaces rather than being caught and disposed? The cushions also need a clean as they have marks on them. The food itself was very good value for money was served quickly and tasted fresh. after a magnificent walk to rame head, in salty dog for coffee and bite. it was a weekday so, pleasant, quiet. personal friendly and chatty, which was beautiful. only had time for a coffee and chocolate brownie, (heaven,) good it was a long walk, why not treat them. menu pretty good and prices reasonable. if they are worth a scrub stop from or back to rame, cawsand, kingsand etc.
We visited from work for a cheeky breakfast.I had Bacon, poached eggs on toast and 2 cappuccinos. Everything was just perfect. The cappuccinos were moreish, the bacon was slightly crisp the way I like it, the poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the bread was good quality. The staff were friendly. Great place, great value, great food.
This was the best breakfast I've had since my last visit. The coffee was delicious, the service was excellent, and all the ingredients were locally sourced. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast - you won't be disappointed. I suggest trying the bubble and squeak for an extra zing to kick-start your day. freshly cooked breakfast with meaty sausage beans, fresh icy and hash brown with beans. Tasted and cheap with good coffee. a special highlight, ordered two coffees with milk, waiter brought them past and then took one back because it was the wrong milk before I said something. many caffes would have just left it and no word said
Charming café located near a business estate and close to the coast in South East Cornwall. The atmosphere is welcoming and the layout is thoughtfully arranged. While they specialize in breakfast dishes, there are also other menu options available.
a great caffe, with nice eating, great tee and coffee and a brilliant atmosphere. dog-friendly too. highly recommended, we would (and the pooch) definitely go back. banjo the black lab says thanks for the tasty, they were also lush!
