I got boiled shrimp and mussels. This is my first time having mussels boiled in crab boil. The texture and freshness was great, but boy do they absorb the salt from the boil! It was a bit hard to eat, but I made it through a pound. The shrimp had a decent taste and texture. The server forgot our drinks and a small portion of the meal, but she was swamped, so I didn't mind. She was nice. We'll probably be back even though it's a bit out of the way.
This place is simply the best!! Ive been eating here for years, and have never been disappointed! Absolutely delicious, everything on the menu, top quality. I always bring out of town guests here for a true Louisiana seafood experience. I love this place, i love the food, i love the people who work here and the great authentic Louisiana atmosphere! Loved the food has great taste. The restaurant was clean…..we ate the all you can eat shrimp boiled. The food had the best seasoning. Just needed a little more spicy but over all was great.

damn, this place is good! I work downtown and eat a lot there, but I swear that all the best places are on the west bank or belle chasse!
Food and service always wonderful. Country music radio is not to my taste so I try to tune it out
