Samari Cambodian - Tisch resevieren

Dined on Sunday night. The place was surprisingly empty as the servings were generous and the food and service were good. Cambodian owned and operated and makes a great introduction to Cambodian food.  Very nice decor as well. We had the pancake - messy eating like the vietnamese one (I think banh zeo?) as you wrap it in the lettuce leaf but tasty and fun - the tom yum soup with noodles which was okay, the fish amok which was good and the stir fried fish with ginger and shallots which was good too and well worth ordering. I had amok and the loc lak over eat, must say that the fish was not fresh or overcooked? or perhaps because it was delivered that the amok was overcooked while it was delivered. And the bark was just a little chewing.ander than above, the taste of the amok sauce was brilliant, the sourness and thick the sose was just great bark and great for me. new rich taste that is just registered at the gaumen and I was in joy when I tasted the fish especially tasty. I want to try definitiw to come into the restaurant and try to other menu, as I think delivery do not this restaurant justness.

The food here was extremely tasty - I had Tom yum soup (without meat, cos that's just what I was in the mood for) & then shared the beef in black bean sauce & special fried rice. That beef dish is a favourite of mine & I've had it many places, so I feel qualified to say it was a good one! The only let down for the place is the environment.. decor a little plain, & music we could only hear the bass of Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

We discovered this great restaurant about a year ago and have been back a number of times since taking friends. The food is excellent and the servings very generous. The service is of a high standard and many others could learn from this. Samari is now our local favourite and we urge anyone with an interest in Cambodian food to give it a go.

The service was good, and the food was great for the price. Had the Amok and a beef curry for mains, rice paper rolls and stuffed chicken wings for starters. It was pretty quiet on a Monday night, so didn't need to book.
