First visit tonight for our 28th Wedding Anniversary and service and food was fantastic! Ambiance was amazing and we walked away thoroughly impressed and overall satisfied. Will recommend to friends and family. A few tables down, there was a large party that were quite loud. We mentioned to each other that they should have seated that large party in a private room or more towards the back of restaurant. There was even another couple who were seated behind us and once they could hear how loud they were, they asked to be moved. All in all, it didn’t spoil our experience.
Second visit to Sam’s and it’s been a few years since our first visit. We had a very good experience and need to come more often. Filets (12 oz. Is a huge bargain) and twice baked we’re awesome. The hot fresh bread was a treat. We are aficionados of the Sidecar cocktail. Sam’s bartender has no equal. They were perfect. The space is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Service was usually prompt with one noticeable exception. Overall excellent evening out.
Thank you. so incredibly disappointed in her dinner this year. we have gone for 7 years for Thanksgiving and it was incredible. this year..awfulful. they changed to the buffet for the Turkish dinner. the food was cold, waited for the filling and to bring out green beans, from pumpkin cake on the desert table, cold rolling, plastic plates. certainly not eat the finer we were used to. will not go back next year. has management changed, chef change?
The steak medallion and the porkchop were both very tasty. My husband liked the stuffed mushrooms but I found some spicy flavor that I did not care for. I really appreciate that the to go containers are aluminum which can be recycled. Most restaurants use styrofoam which is not. Also like that the to go bags are paper and not plastic. We will definitely will not wait for another anniversary to come back.

Our cocktails were delicious and our steak prepared perfectly. We shared the 9oz and we’re happy to pay the “shared plate” charge. The loaded potato was impressive and the wedge salad fantastic!
The staff was outstanding, cheerful and so helpful. The buffet was spot on, traditional Thanksgiving plus ham and prime rib. Also a large variety of desserts. It was well worth the price
I was disappointed at the truthahn I was looking forward to! it was dry and not well presented! also our table in the main dining area was too close to people who get into our opposite!
we thank here and it was wonderful. great friendly service, festive atmosphere and delicious food. would be going to be safe again!

The service was perfect. Everyone’s meal was cooked as requested. Our table was located in a corner which made conversation easy.
food and service were excellent. put in the bar with greg as server. also on a Saturday night the klaviermann is a funny note!
