honestly it's more like three and half. the service would be a five and the ambience would be a four. As for the fish, it seemed fresh enough but they use so much sauce. I like the option of sauce but when every roll is drowned in it I am turned off. Theportions were generous but after you've been to a lot of sushi places it is hard to find a place that really jumps out at me. Itwasn't bad by any means it just didn't stand out from a lot of other places. They were open and close and had plenty of seatingwhich is always a plus. so many places are crowded and loud. I liked having a private comfortable booth which can be hard tofind for a sushi place
Samurai Sushi opened in 1998, I started working at Aerojet in 1999. I have essentially been a customer for 23 years. The fish is always very high-quality. The weight staff is very good and attentive. At this point, I know the owner and his wife, and whenthey see me, they light up and greet me like family. The key thing for me is consistency and the quality of the food and theyhit five stars on both. I had the same waiter from 1998 until maybe a year ago in 2020. I have never seen a restaurant keepstaff that long so they must be doing something right.
The rolls were amazing, but not quite worth the cost. For being dense protein meals I understand some higher prices, but it is California and the term sushi has marketed in such a way that fish with rice is only just that. It was marketed well. The placeis cute, and it was empty when I first arrived. I was so hungry too, I had two rolls. Super Rainbow and something about Tuna. Itwas delicious! I almost had one more (Titanic Roll), but they added another party and I didn?t want to wait anymore, so Ifinished up.
I have been eating at Samurai for two decades now (and drive 20 minutes to get there! . The sashimi is amazing and all their dishes are consistently excellent. Service is quick, accurate and friendly. The restaurant overall has a good vibe. When going with friends, I recommend getting a sushi boat to maximize the items you get to try and minimize the cost. I had mentioned I was pregnant and one of the rolls had raw fish on the top, I had asked to have it torched as its my favorite roll and I still wanted it. I was nervous they wouldnt see the note but when my food arrived the roll (y2k) was torched on top. I was so happy and excited that they saw it that I remembered why samurai is my favorite sushi place!!
Absolutely incredible and the experience is over the top! If you are there during the evening ask for Justin, he is one of the best servers. They have specialty rolls daily, not to mention the bar is on point! If you have not tried this place you must do so enjoy!
That was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life! This is my new favorite spot! Great prices and the best quality fish and ingredients! I would much rather go here than to well known sushi restaurants! Incredible!
My order was good but I did not receive the right items. I didnt get the samurai roll. The roll I got instead was still pretty good but not sure what happened. Other than that, the Patrick roll and gyoza never disappoint Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Our go to spot. Food, drinks and hospitality is always on point. Great happy hr. Checkout the Carlos special and the Fair Oaks rolls, pretty yummy
