We were all tired from a big week and Cordoba was the last stop. Needed a meal that was not expensive, close to hotel, teenager friendly and if somewhat authentic would be a bonus. We were recommended this restaurant by Paula at Hotel Maestre just across the street . Main reason to choose was that they accepted Credit Card ...the nearest bank ATM did not want to dispense cash! . What a bonus to step into Taberna Plateros! Many attributes – the menu had Spanish and English, even after a week in Andalucia still struggling with language We arrived early before it got busy , so that waiters had a bit more time to take orders. Decorated in typical Cordoban fashion, what struck us upon entering is how authentic the place is. Greeted by some of the regulars by the bar, we sat down in the beautifully decorated courtyard. We ordered some classical salmorejo, fried aubergines in honey and classical tortilla de patatas, all which were reasonably priced. Perfect if you are looking for a place which serves good traditional food.
Food is nice but nothing extraordinary. Get ready for a long wait, the restaurant was not crowded but still food arrive after 30 minutes wait. We complained twice but waiter did not paid much attention Size and prices are OK and you can order food to share but remember to take it easy
Encontramos el sitio por casualidad, muy amables nos prepararon una mesa bastante rápido. Pedimos el salmorejo, rabo de toro, flamenquines y todo riquísimo ademas de un vino, que no recuerdo el nombre, de Córdoba exquisito. Tattoo excelente

Creo que no hay menú sino que es son platos de raciones o medias raciones. Algunos platos muy bien y otros más o menos. El ambiente es un poco ruidoso pero también es agradable ese ambiente, principalmente para los turistas.
Genial, pudimos comer en un día de feria, nos tocó esperar y el servicio tardo un poco, dentro de lo normal para esas fechas, pero calidad/precio, trato del personal y comida, brutal

Las berenjenas con miel buenísimas, el salmorejo cordobés muy bueno y las croquetas de rabo de toro especiales
