Having been in florida for the last decade I was extremely excited to go to a good ol' jersey diner again. The nostalgic feeling surpassed the food I remember as a young man. It was just OKAY. Maybe it would be better late night after a few drinks like I used to do. French onion soup was bland as can be, the French dip was bland as can be (had to ask for horse radish sauce for flavor) my lady had the gyro and zucchini fries. Idk why she ordered a gyro from a diner LOL clearly frozen mystery meat. And thr zucchini fries tasted like everything else out of the fryer. The regular fries were good. Prices were a little wild. All in all just okay.

Food was great, food came out fast, we had seating immediately. Our server could use some training, nothing was picked up from our table, nobody was refilled, it was a pain to get her attention, we were not checked on. when we ordered coffee and dessert we planned to sit in with those items but they were presented in togo containers while our whole table was still a mess from our previous items. on our way to cash out we were not acknowledged but we did get to watch her giggle with her coworkers playing games on their phones by the entrance.
I recently wrapped up cleaning out my mom's house in Holiday City and decided to stop by this restaurant for breakfast for the first time. Kit ordered the Lulu Breakfast Sandwich, which featured a pork roll, egg, and cheese stacked between two slices of Texas-sized French toast. I opted for a classic pork roll, egg, and cheese on a toasted roll, topped with SPK, and a side of French fries. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice. This restaurant is incredibly charming, with a delightful small-town atmosphere that I truly appreciated, even though I'm not from the area. The service was quick, and my waitress—whose name unfortunately escapes me—was fantastic! I ordered the Hot Apple Waffle with a side of Canadian bacon, while my boyfriend opted for the Hearty Breakfast, which included chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and very satisfying.
Stopped for a quick Bite. Glad I did.Friendly service and food was great. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, just chicken, lettuce and tomato on a roll. The roll was fresh and fabulous. Can't get one like that in Florida. The are chicken cooked perfectly. The French fries cooked perfectly too plus they didn't salt them at my request. I Dont live near here but would be back often. The other dishes going by me looked good too.
Wife and I eat lunch tonight. Worst meal ever. Some in the kitchen should check what garbage they sever. Chicken broth. Scampi I can't explain how poor or a dish I was served. The shrimp parm of the woman was not better. Too bad they can take away food so badly.
