We had a function at Sandown Park Hotel in the function room and it was amazing. The staff were incredible and the food was amazing. The set up was perfect and they were so accomodating. The venue manager Wendy was so easy to deal with and nothing was an issue. She made sure everything went smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Highly recommend and will definitely be back there for more functions. Overall a great experience that exceeded our expectations.
I took my mom out for lunch, and we both had a great experience. The bistro is spacious, and since it was a Monday, it wasn't very busy. Our meals arrived promptly. I ordered the rump steak, which was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. They also offered discounts on some meals for seniors. The prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly, and the decor was lovely. I will definitely be returning!
Today I ordered a chicken parmigiana but was given a plant based chicken instead. Tasted nothing like chicken, had no integrity and crumbled when pocked with a fork. Very dissapointing. The other dish we ordered was penne bolognese. Tasted very nice but was overpowered by the huge quantity of bolognese sauce. Half the amount of bolognese sauce would have been appropriate.
We had our daughter’s 1st birthday here last Sunday and Mandy and Robyn were so wonderful and hospitable. Dealing with Mandy from the initial booking to the end was such an easy process. We had an Annual Dinner Presentation Night for our Car Club in the Corrigan Room recently and the room, the meals, service and staff were all excellent. The price and standard of the meals and venue hire could not be faulted. Highly recommended.
The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A special thank you to Sheridan for being so wonderful and making our family feel so welcomed. Your energy truly breathes life into the restaurant!
