Although I am a local this was my first visit to Sandy's Bar and Grill. It was a little busy being Valentine's Day so we didn't mind that we had to request our order be taken. When I asked what chardonnay's they have on their wine list, apparently they only have one, a Jacobs Creek. It's not what I would normally order but that was fine. Unfortunately the waitress then came back to tell me that there was only an empty bottle in the fridge, someone had forgotten to replace it, and would I like to order another wine, choices being Sav Blanc or a red. Again there was only one Sav Blanc to choose from which she advised was popular with customers (I wonder why) and yes it was quite nice consideri...
The first time we were here ,we were all a bit under the weather(a few to many).I had a meat lovers pizza and at the time i said it was the best pizza I have had for a very very long time. But we all had said that all the meals were very good , may be to many beers? talking who knows.So off we went again but this time not under the weather so we all could judge again the meals.Yep Yep just as great as the first time if not better....... The meals are all good size if not too big ? and great value for the price.Thanks to Danna and the staff for making us fell right at home...We back very soon
Ordered the Turkish bread and dips .. came with a layer of garlic on top of the bread.. we don't order garlic bread as we don't like it..we both ordered the lamb shank .. shank was cooked well but tasteless... the baked potato it was to come with came in a separate pot all mushed up with a ton of raw garlic mixed through it.. absolutely gross. Very very disappointed. This same potato seems to come with everything on the menu so no point in trying anything else. What not be back..
Went for a walk here to get some food and were so very happy with our meals. The nachos were average but most places are for nachos in Australia. However the pumpkin salad was unreal! Best salad I've had in a very long time!! The boys got the ribs and they both said they were delicious. And we all left with take aways. Will be back for sure.

Portions last night were a fraction of what they usually are. Last time I had ribs I had to bring home at least half a dozen, so last night I shared a portion, and we only got 5 in total. The mash was lumpy and disgusting so we didn't touch that. The veg was lovely and fresh though
Saw this place on my walk and was sick of Zaraffas and Maccas coffee which are next door. Great coffee. Service was great. Didn't have any food so can't comment on that.
What wonderful food! We are very impressed with the food, staff and cocktails offered. Totally nailed the food and we are already looking forward to our next visit
First time we have eaten here since new owners took over about a year ago. Pleasantly surprised with updated decor. Friendly staff. Huge menu. Chose lamb chops
