The mint/yogurt sauce added to the flavor while cooling things down a bit.We followed it up with the butter chicken and garlic naan. The food was really delicious!We ordered the samosa chaat, paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. The samosa chaat was probably in my top three in the US the chana was perfectly spiced. The other two dishes were very close in flavor profile, but different enough to show they weren't scooped from the same pot with the protein just popped in later.The staff was very attentive and checked in regularly to make sure we were pleased. Absolutely wonderful! The menu has many unique, delicious, and authentic Indian dishes that are 100% worth a try. They also have great drinks the Mango Chili Lemonade is my personal recommendation. Not only this, but all the food is very reasonably priced! You DO NOT get ripped off. The atmosphere is perfect it's not too cold nor hot, the music isn't too loud, and there is a very pleasing dining room. The waiters are charming and the service is pretty fast. I'd like to mention are great waitress, Irene. I have a pistachio allergy and she took the extra mile to make sure nothing had pistachios. Had to write this review. Sanskrit team never disappoints. We are coming here almost every week. As we are afraid to get disappointed by other restaurant experiences. The staff is good, the dining room manager is excellent. The menu is limited and every dish on there has been tasting very good. Veg and chicken biryani’s are good. Our favorite is malai kofta, gobi manchurian, manglore chicken , tandoori chicken and butter paneer. We get them extra spicy. Portion sizes are big. Keep it up Sanskrit team. You also get reward points for your order and can redeem them later.

SO GOOD! We went to Temple Coffee this afternoon, and I noticed the sign that said burritos on Tuesdays at Sanskrit. It sounded so delicious, so after coffee, I went to get a burrito to-go.They have you fill out a form of which items you want on the burrito (or in a bowl), and it was ready within minutes. I just got home, took the first bite, and it is heavenly. It 's a huge burrito for the price, so it 's a great deal. I will definitely be back!
One of the best Indian food I have had in the Folsom area. This place has variety of veg and non veg options. Wada pav here is pne of my fav dishes. Will also recommend to taste their malai kofta, veg biryani, garlic naam, daal makhni and the cutting chai.Food: 5/5
Amazing food, customer service and good price. My favorites are aloo poori, noodles and chickpea tacos. Top notch customer service. Store is spacious and neat. Also, like their music selection that they play. I would love to go back there

Went tonight for dinner. We had the Bombay sliders, chicken Tikka Masala, and garlic Naan. All were great and service was very quick.
