That's an incredible inviting place! The staff was incredibly helpful and sweet. Great interior delicious food drinks. My friend and I came closed like their kitchen (8:30 ), because their Yelp hours said they were open until 10. They offered us a table, offered us Quesadillas, Chips, Guac, Salsas drinks. I am the kind of person who would never go to a place as they close, but snowstorm, yelp hours everything else closed led me to stay after their kitchen was closed. In view of this, the workers were incredibly friendly, attentive and friendly. Reyna was the sweetest bartender/server I will return 10000% (at a more reasonable time! Thank you. Visited this place on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed. The service was very good, and the staff apologized multiple times for the longer than usual kitchen wait times. (Which was honestly not that long). I shared some chips and guacamole with my partner. I then had the steak burrito combination dinner. The food was good, but I have had better. But by all means I enjoyed what I had. I had my burrito with a few cups of Diet Pepsi. The atmosphere seemed nice but we got seats right by the door since that was the only open seating. I recommend this place if you’re in the area.
My family has come to Santa Fe since the early 1980s. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and they have the best margarita! So many memories of family gatherings here. I don't live in Glen Ellyn anymore, but I come back to enjoy the food, service and memories of the little jewel of a restaurant. It's a very special place for me!
