I made a reservation for two. When I arrived, the place was packed and I told the manager who met me at the door that i had reservations for two inside. She did not ask my name but handed me two menus and asked me wait outside. My guest and I were taken to a second room in the back and that at the worst table between two other large ones, a table where even our waiter had trouble serving us because he had no room to stand. I will not return.
As usual Sapore di Mare did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and delicious, as was the appetizer. The waitress is very professional and attentive considering how busy it was. This place is very small and our table probably shouldn't be in the place it was, right on the row and between kitchen and bar. Every now and then, there were a lot of people gathered by me as I ate. But, I'd still come back. This place is a hidden gem in the Grove.
2 appetizers, 4 pasta plates and 1 bottle of the cheapest white wine on the menu was an overall whopping over $350usd for 4 of us!! Regrettably the food quality diminished and mis mediocre at best! I would not recommend it anymore to anyone. Service was fine.

The best of the best! Always delicious and service makes you feel like family! We always are delighted with all aspects of the experience-extension of our home-and luckily only a few blocks away! The treasure of the Grove!
here is amazing! the staff is friendly and efficient, eating is fantastic. the only negatiw I can say is eating is so good, I can't eat as much as I want or I would be the size of a house!
