We booked the Saracens head for my birthday meal on Sunday. I have been there a few times, but my boyfriend had never been. I got the pate for a starter, which was delicious, and there was still a bit left on my plate, but I had ate all the crackers. One of the staff members came over and said she would get me some more crackers, which was lovely of her. My boyfriend got the soup, and he said he enjoyed it. Jewel on the canal. What a fabulous suprise this place was went a few years ago and it was a dive read some reviews and thought we should give it a go and it lived up to its billing. Clean, pretty and with a great fresh menu that had a little something for everyone, even the kids who were fussed over. We were made to feel really welcome and loved every second of it.

Great location, service can be a little slow but the staff are very friendly. Good food and the play area for the kids is great.
