As I mentioned, I've been on a real Malaysian kick lately. I suggested one night that we go to Satay where I was very many years ago, and DLS was a game for the quick ride from my place to East Flushing location. Our meal began with an order of Roti Canai, a thin, crepe like pancakes, which, if well done, is chewing, soft, but crispy in stains. This was definitely a very good Roti, served with one side of light spicy curry for diving. For vegetables we ordered green beans with belacan, a dried shrimp paste that smells extremely fragrant and almost fishy. The green beans were perfectly slightly crisp, but cooked by and the shrimp paste added a really nice dimension to the dish, a bit of umami...

Pig skin: decent replacement shrimp is dressed, not deveined FYI: questions After wide flat noodles, not the pad Thai noodles Please that noodles are cooked in the extra dark/black soy sauce Large portion size width kway teow review (only for CKT: 6/10 Ambience: 6/10 Overall rating: 7/10

Not sure how to start. 4 of us went to this place for dinner last night. We were hungry. We ordered 3 dishes, 1 appetizer and 6 bowls of oil and nothing left when we were gone. It could be combination of hungry good foods small plates. I can't judge clearly for this round, so I'll go back another time if I'm not so hungry. FYI, we ordered half the chicken (photographed), duck tofu, shrimp paste string beans and Indian bread.
