Takeout Review: I've driven past this restaurant many times, so I finally decided to give it a try. Coming from Rhode Island, I'm a fan of fresh seafood. The parking lot is spacious but often full. The restaurant has a nautical theme; it's not upscale, but it definitely has a cozy vibe. The service for ordering and picking up takeout was excellent. The prices for dinner options were a bit on the higher side, which I understand given the inflation and the fact that fresh seafood typically costs more. Really love this place- on outskirts of town but great quality and service. Rustic/fish atmosphere like on a boat and very fast service. Extreme large portion sizes as we started off with garlic shrimp and Cole slaw, a shared salad (huge!!! , bread, and then finally our entrees. I buoyed salmon, seafood soup, and calamari. Really loved all of it as seafood was fresh and good quality. Defs recommend for seafood lovers as good price and really good
Be sure to try the specials—they're definitely worth the experience! Everything on the menu is top-notch, except for the clams, but that's just because I'm not a fan of them.

Saybrook Fish House never disappoints! The food, service and atmosphere are top-notch. The seafood is always fresh and well-cooked, and the servers friendly and attentive.
Waitress was so attentive and even the staff was super nice scampi was...different...but that fish chowder was perfect wish the soup came much hotter it was room temp
The lobster roll was not really a lobster roll but others in my group enjoyed the boiled lobster and the large seafood pasta dish. The service was excellent!
I had lunch with my aunt, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! The fried whole bellies were absolutely perfect. I would definitely go back again!
